Some of us have yet to take in a Broadway show in New York, but we can have a similar theatre experience right here in Colorado.

The Denver Center for Performing Arts recently announced the Broadway lineup for the 2023-2024 season and it's full of fan favorites!

Broadway Has Visited Denver for Decades

If you weren't aware, major broadway productions have a history here in the Centennial state and have been brought to the Denver Performing Arts Center since the 1970s. A few broadway productions have even been previewed here in Colorado before they made their NY debut.

Denver is frequently listed as a national touring location for popular broadway shows giving you the chance to experience a broadway performance without the hefty NY price tag.

What to Expect At A Broadway Production in Denver

Unlike in New York, you're not expected to dress to the 10s to see a broadway show here in Colorado. There is not a mandated dress code at the Denver Performing Arts Center and guests are encouraged to dress as they please. However, DPAC does ask that guests are mindful of wearing large hats that may obstruct another person's view of the stage.

Broadway shows at DPAC are located in Buell Theatre and Ellie Caulkins Opera House. DPAC recommends arriving at least 30-45 minutes prior to curtain to give you time to park and get settled in before the performance begins. House managers and ushers are available to help you find your seats and answer any questions you may have.

2023-2024 Broadway subscriptions are on sale now for the full season and tickets for single tickets will go on sale at a later date.
