Demi Lovato wants all the rumors that she and Taylor Swift are in a feud to stop.

After her cryptic Instagram story about not attending this year's MTV Video Music Awards, people immediately thought it was because of Swift's attendance. However, it was supposed to be a way for her to announce that she'll be joining the final season of Will & Grace. Unfortunately, people still didn't believe her.

So almost a week after that social media message went up, she posted a new one this morning (September 2) not only giving props to Swift but also squashing their "supposed beef."

"Life's too short for women to not support other women..especially when women release great music. Great job @taylorswift 👏🏼🙌🏼 💕," she posted after also sharing that Swift's "Cruel Summer" was "a jam."

Swift saw Lovato's shoutout and responded with the "biggest smile."

"This is so awesome & put the biggest smile on my face," Swift wrote on a repost of Lovato's message on an IG story.

All the buzz about the potential feud between the two pop singers started when Lovato signed a management deal with Scooter Braun.

Yes, that same Braun who bought Swift's former label Big Machine, and now owns Swift's music catalog. Follow that purchase, Lovato made a statement in support of Braun.

And it looks like we need to accept it and move on.
