Colorado authorities are searching for a suspect considered armed and dangerous after a carjacking that left two elderly women seriously injured.

The Lakewood Police Department reports at approximately 12:45 p.m. yesterday, October 12, 2020, agents were dispatched to the 400 block of Benton Street on a carjacking. Police found two female victims, ages 76 and 88, suffering from serious injuries.

According to the Lakewood Police Department Facebook page, witnesses reported an 18 to 20-year-old male had carjacked the women, running over both victims as he fled the scene.

You are asked to be on the lookout for:

  • White 2000 Lincoln sedan (or possibly a Town Car or Continental)
  • Colorado Honorably Discharged Veteran license plate 274-CBF
  • 18 to 20-year-old Hispanic male approximately 6' 2" wearing red hat

VERY IMPORTANT - The Lakewood Police Department advises you not to approach the suspect as he is considered armed and dangerous.
