Crested Butte Sets Record For Santa’s Skiing In One Place

Most Christmas stories include Santa coming down the chimney, but how about Santa's coming down a mountain!Santa Ski Day took place at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, and this year broke a world record for the most Santa's skiing and snowboarding at the same time.

The total amount of skiers and snowboarders dressed as Santa was 827. That beat the old record of 765.

Iron Orchid Events put on the festivities.

According to Shaun Matusewicz when speaking with the Daily Sentinel

“It was an amazing day filled with Santas, smiles and good times everywhere,” “We woke up in the morning to fresh snow on the mountain and great skiing conditions; we really couldn’t have asked for more.”

Oh yes, there will be another Santa Ski Day, in fact it is already set for the second week in December for 2016.
