If there are a few things that Country Jam can claim, it's that the sun is going to be blazing hot, there will be plenty of alcohol and food and plenty of stereotypes! Myself and some of the other DJ's put together a list of some of the most common stereotypes you will probably see if you're out at Country Jam this year, this was fun!

College Students:

This one was pretty obvious, but it's why I started out with them. If there is live music, plenty of booze and plenty of the opposite sex present then you can definitely count on college students to come out of the woodwork.

The Colorado CowBro:

These are the dudes that you see walking around without a shirt. They are usually in pretty decent shape, but they are definitely probably not your friend. They generally are decked out in a Walmart cowboy hat and American flag board shorts. They are season Country Jam Veterans and bought their beads wholesale weeks before the event even started.

The Late 20's Early 30's Single Mom Crew:

These ladies come in groups, and they are not here to entertain you, or anyone else. They are on a mission, to consume as much alcohol as they possibly can in the 3 days they have away from responsibility. And who can blame them?! They are probably divorced or freshly broken up with the CowBro we mentioned earlier, and they probably work their butts off, so let the girls be girls.

The First Timers/Out Of Towners:

These people would look completely normal, other than the one simple fact that makes them stand out they look completely normal. They may have dressed nicely, and I guarantee they didn't bring enough water, sunscreen, or enough of their own food. They are constantly complaining about the lines, and the price of food and even bottled water.

The Older Rich Couple Trying To Be Young Again:

Maybe they used to be a doctor, maybe they still are. They might be wearing a really expensive cowboy hat (that no cowboy would ever wear) a Tommy Bahamas shirt, and Sam's club shorts. These are actually the people you want to hang around if you can find them. I guarantee you'll hear some good stories and probably have some of your drinks paid for you.

The "We Have To Meet Back Up With My Parents in an Hour" Teens:

These teens always come in groups, because they are far too insecure to walk around an event like this without other teens seeing that they have a lot of friends. They try to dress cool and are most likely to actually wear a t-shirt of one of the bands that are actually performing at the event.

The "I'm Actually A Fan Of The Music" People:

These poor folks actually came because they love the band, and they love the music. They have to put up with all of these other stereotypes, just to see the bands they love. They are generally the most likeable of all of the people at Country Jam, and if you can spot them, I suggest you try to get your seat by them. If you came for the music, that is. If you didn't, please leave them alone and actually let them enjoy the show, they've probably already put up with enough unspeakable things just to get those seats.
