You know that rumor that everyone in Colorado does drugs? Yeah well, one Colorado city is adding fuel to the fire.

According to a report from the Denver Post, the town of Moffat, Colorado is ruminating over potentially changing its name to Kush.

What is Kush?

Kush is the name for a specific type of cannabis that has roots in the Hindu Kush mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Kush is known to be potent and is a pure Indica strain. Those who consume Kush can expect to experience less pain, better sleep, and increased appetite.

Celebrating the Cannabis Industry in Colorado

According to the 2020 Census, the town of Moffat only has 104 residents and only occupies 1.67 mi².

The town experienced a huge boost to its economy when Mike Biggio and his business partner founded Area 420, a 420-acre cannabis business park.

Now Biggio thinks it's time to further capitalize on the town's biggest money maker and rename the town Kush. Biggio is bringing his idea to Moffat’s Board of Trustees meeting to discuss the possibility.

Biggio is reported to even have the support of Moffat’s mayor, Cassandra Foxx. Nothing is set in stone, but keep in mind that anything is possible, especially here in Colorado.
