Colorado Online Dating Pros & Cons
Meeting a love interest the "old-fashioned" way is considered to be much more difficult these days by many. In today's fast-paced world, people want options quickly which is probably why dating apps like Tinder have risen in popularity.
While it can be fun swiping left and right on potential dating matches, meeting up with that person can be a completely different story. Stranger danger is still a very real thing. However, these days strangers deliver your food and even drive you to where you need to go, so the fear factor isn't as strong as it used to be.
Colorado Man's Tinder Date Starts Off Normal
A 21-year-old Colorado man matched with a woman by the name of Lauren Dooley, 22, of Colorado Springs on Tinder and agreed to meet at her apartment.
The man told police that he and Lauren talked for a bit on her couch before she began to undress him and later perform a sex act on the man. According to the arrest affidavit obtained by KDVR, Dooley then tied the man's wrists and ankles with duct tape.
The man reported that he thought the binding was "odd" but consented nonetheless.

The 21-year-old told police that Dooley even ordered Doordash and told him, " if you scream or say anything I'll kill you."
Eventually, Dooley moved the man back into her bed where she climbed in, placed the blanket over his head, and fell asleep.
