Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Announces 5 Inductees for the Class of 2023
A few legendary sports professionals will be honored by getting inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.
According to a press release from the Denver Broncos, 5 people have been chosen as inductees for the class of 2023 to be entered into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

Nominations for the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame are:
accepted for individuals who have merited recognition and distinction in sports and who have brought fame and glory to the State of Colorado through outstanding accomplishments...
The public is welcome to submit nominations each year with the deadline being August 31st for the following year. From there the Selection Committee will choose inductees with an announcement in October.
Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Annual Banquet
Each year a banquet is held to welcome the newest class of inductees in April. 2023's banquet will be the 58th annual and is scheduled for April 26, 2023.
Colorado Sports Hall of Fame: Class of 2023 Inductees
The Colorado Sports Hall of Fame will welcome 5 people into the class of 2023's inductees, with three people being awarded posthumously.
Demaryius Thomas passed in December 2021 but will be honored for his record-breaking achievements as a Denver Bronco. Thomas played with the Broncos for more than 9 seasons, earned five consecutive Pro Bowl selections, and is hailed as one of the best receivers in franchise history.
Former U.S. Olympic Skier Jimmie Heuga and former University of Northern Colorado football star Vincent Jackson are also being inducted posthumously.
George Karl, the former Nuggets head coach will also be inducted along with the former vice president of the U.S. Olympic Committee Evie Dennis.
