This might be the saddest sight so far this holiday season. A new video share shows a Colorado deer who somehow ended up with Christmas lights tangled up around his antlers.

This was just shared on YouTube this afternoon. The buck doesn't seem to mind that he is a moving Christmas display.

I've done some digging and found the original video shared on Twitter by Chris Lopez. According to his mention on Twitter, this happened in southern Colorado near Alamosa.

The biggest question on YouTube and Twitter which remains unanswered so far is if anyone came to the buck's assistance and removed the lights. The good news is obviously it isn't slowing his eating down, but will eventually cause dire problems.

Will update this story once new information is shared. For now, it's just a sad moment when modern society and nature have collided in a regrettable way.
