Colorado Day Means Free Entry to All Colorado State Parks
Colorado Day means you can enjoy free entry into all state parks in Colorado. Colorado Day is the first Monday in August, August 3.
Colorado Day is Colorado's birthday, which is technically on August 1. Colorado will be turning 144 years old. Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrates it on the first Monday in August by making all state park entrance fees free fifty free - that's right $0.
There will be no entrance fees at all Colorado state parks on Monday, August 3rd for Colorado Day. Colorado has a lot of state parks to enjoy, as in we have over 40. The newest state park is Fishers Peak near Trinidad, which is not yet open to the public.
