When I first saw that the Messiah Baptist Church in Denver wasn't shutting down right now I thought it was a joke. After reading the posts on their Church Facebook page I quickly realized this isn't a joke. And very quickly their congregation could be getting sick.

While I understand that during these troubling times leaning on Church and your higher power seems to be something a lot of people are doing. And I don't believe this is a bad idea, but when it included breaking the law put in place to make sure we don't spread the COVID-19 virus that's what I'm not understanding.

There have been numerous religious services here in Grand Junction that have moved to online due to the virus and they plan to open up their building as soon as allowed by the government.

As expected this news to stay open has caught a lot of people's attention and as you know people love to let you know how they feel when they are behind their keyboard. So, as of now, the Messiah Baptist Church has a 1.7 rating out of 5 and it continues to go down as more people leave messages and low ratings on their Facebook page.
