This Small Parking Lot Could Be One of Colorado’s Best Kept Secrets

The thing is, this parking lot isn't trying to hide anything; it's just not where you'd think to look.  When it comes to keeping a list of  "great parking spots" across Colorado, you need to put this one on that.

It just seems when you're looking for and needing a good place to park, you can't find one. Here's a lot that gets overlooked, regularly, especially on those weekend occasions when it seems like "everybody" is out and about.

No, it's not really a "sexy" story, to go on about a stupid, little parking lot; but when you see it getting ignored, you feel you should help people out. It could be helping many people find a space that they didn't know they could use, let alone that it was there. This lot becomes even more valuable when you find that there are issues with the big parking garage, nearby.

In the heart of Downtown Loveland at 2nd Street and Lincoln, there is The Foundry. The Foundry has a parking garage (above), but it can be a hassle: tight corners and small spaces to name a couple. Just a minute away from that garage, though it's not covered parking, there is a lot you may not know of.

Just a block north, along Lincoln, you'll see this parking sign. Follow it. It's going to take you to one of not only Loveland's best-kept secrets but one of Colorado's as well. One-half block to the east, on the south side of the road, is this little parking lot.

Though it may be small, there are 30 spaces in this "little lot off of 3rd," with plenty of room. You can even exit by using the alley that's to the south. This is a great location, that's tucked away but within a very short walking distance of the restaurants, bars, and activities going on downtown.
