A Clifton man is sentenced to probation for trying to have sex with a teen at a Clifton park.

According to the District Attorney's office Duane Tsosie was convicted of attempted sex assault on a child. Tsosie will be able to serve his sentence in his home in Arizona.

The District Attorney's office also stated that Tsosie had made an advance at a teen in the park, and the teenager told him no.

The teen then threatened to punch him in the face if Tsosie asked again.

Tsosie received five years probation and will serve in a work release here in Mesa county until he returns to Arizona. Tsosie will be registered as a sex offender.
