Woah. Cardi B just announced she and husband Offset have called it quits.

Cardi posted a video on her Instagram early this morning (or late Tuesday night if you were still awake), giving fans a major, unexpected update about her relationship with the Migos member. "Everybody been bugging me... I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," Cardi says.

The rapper says the couple, who got married in September 2017 and gave birth to baby girl Kulture this past July, are "really good friends... and really good business partners," before adding, "He's always somebody that I run to talk to, and we've got a lot of love for each other, but..." There's always a "but."

"Things just haven't been working out between us for a long time, and it's nobody's fault. I guess we grew out of love," Cardi says matter-of-factly. She then confirms what she's been building up to: "We're not together anymore."

Things get really real when Cardi brings up the "D" word. "It might take time to get a divorce," she says, before ending things on a mature, hopeful note. "I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father."

From her calm tone, Cardi seems to be at peace with the breakup, especially considering the pair have been together for a few years and have a child together. Perhaps couple has privately been separated for awhile, and the public is just now hearing about it because they were ready to go public with the news.

Ironically, Cardi just brought Offset out as a surprise guest during her set at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in Los Angeles last Friday (November 30). The two even kissed and embraced on stage! She also captioned the breakup announce video "There you go..peace and love," so who knows. We just wish the best for everyone involved.

Earlier this year in August, Cardi was allegedly involved in an attack on two female bartenders, who claim Cardi accused them of sleeping with Offset. Cardi is currently dealing with potential legal ramifications from that incident and is set to make a court appearance this week. You might recall Nicki Minaj shadily cast the bartenders in her "Good Form" video released last week.

Whatever happens, we've got your back, Cardi!
