By The Numbers: How The Broncos Stack Up Against The Chiefs

Well, at LEAST the Broncos won't have to resort to a practice squad wide receiver to play quarterback this week. After last week's debacle with ALL of the quarterbacks needing to sit out due to Covid contact tracing, the (4-7) Denver Broncos look to get back on track against the defending world champion (10-1) Kansas City Chiefs in primetime on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium.

The GOOD news: very few fans will be allowed into one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL, the BAD news: the Chiefs will STILL be showing up to play football. The first match-up between these two teams this season resulted in a 43-16 loss at Empower Field as the Chiefs scored touchdowns on a kickoff return AND a fumble return. If the Broncos want to even smell a chance to win this game, they have to play their best game of the year and be mistake-free.

The Broncos have lost their last 10 matchups vs Kansas City with their last win coming in 2015 when a guy by the name of Peyton Manning was playing quarterback.
