Word on the Street

A buddy of mine was doing work up valley, and on his way home, stopped at the Culver's in Glenwood Springs. He had never heard of the place, either. He loved the restaurant. As a matter of fact, he loved it so much, he asked to speak to the manager. He mentioned the company should open a store in Grand Junction. It was at this time the manager informed him that was already underway. At this time, the company's official webpage doesn't offer an opening date.

Okay, I Don't Get Out Much

As it turns out, there are several Culver's locations in Western Colorado. You'll find Culver's in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, and Montrose. You have my word, my adventures do take me out of the house from time to time. With the last 13 months having been what they were, though, I haven't visited any of those communities.

What Makes Them Unique

According to their official webpage:

The first ButterBurgers were made with an ice cream scoop. That’s right — fresh beef for the first ButterBurgers was “scooped” into perfect portions, then pressed into the grill to achieve the sear we know and love today.

To witness a real-time construction of a tasty ButterBurger, check out the video below. If you want a good laugh, keep your eye on the far-left edge of the screen at the :28 mark. The cameraman clearly wants uninterrupted footage of the toasting of a ButterBurger bun.

What's a ButterBurger, and Have You Seen One Lately?

It appears a "ButterBurger" is exactly what it sounds like. According to the webpage:

Every Culver’s ButterBurger is made with fresh, never frozen beef and always seared after you order. Then we top it with a lightly buttered, toasted bun. Order your favorite in a Single, Double or Triple and we’ll build the perfect burger just for you. Your choice, our pleasure.

Welcome to the Neighborhood

Welcome aboard, Culver's. Here's wishing you a successful run. I apologize for not recognizing your brand. They reviews thus far have been extraordinary.
