A warm Saturday night during the summer time is the perfect time to gather with friends, have a barbecue and cook some smores!  Thankfully the fire ban has been lifted and we can enjoy some open fire delicacies!

That leads me to my topic: bacon makes everything better!  Allow me to elaborate, this last Saturday night we had smores. Yes big deal, i know, but these were not ordinary smores ladies and gentlemen, these smores were topped with BACON! Yes, BACON! I was kinda nervous about that first bite but it was truly better then any Five Star Dinner. The sweet of the chocolate and the saltiness and grease of the Bacon was so amazing that I had to have another... and then another... until finally someone wrenched the marshmallow cooker out of my hand!  Just make sure you wear a smores bib because you are going to be a delicious mess!

Bacon Roasted Smores by Roxi:

What you need:

Coat Hanger or a really cool marshmallow cooker

Marshmallows (normal size)

Graham Crackers

Ghirardelli Chocolate get the ones with carmel inside (OMG)

(or if you're a traditionalist, nothing beats Hershey's milk chocolate)

BACON! Pre-cook a whole bunch to where it is nice and crispy.

Finally, put all the ingredients together and prepare

for a party in your mouth!
