[UPDATE Tues., May 7, 3:36 p.m.] The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that at least seven students have been injured with a possibility of eight. The extent of the students' injuries has not been released.

[ORIGINAL STORY Tues., May 7, 3:30 p.m.] Two suspects are in custody with at least two injured in a shooting at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Reports came in around 1:53 p.m. of shots at the school located at 8773 S. Ridgeline Blvd in Highlands Ranch, Colo. Police are asking the public to stay clear of the area as investigations continue.

Multiple schools in the area were placed on lockdown or lockout.

At this time, authorities are asking parents to Northridge Recreation Center to pick up their children.
