Ariana Grande Fires Back at Pete Davidson-Haters: ‘I’m Over It’
If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all (and especially don't say anything at all in the comments section of Ariana Grande's Instagram page).
Grande, who's engaged to comedian Pete Davidson after just a few short weeks of dating, took an opportunity Monday (June 25) to address anyone who's had something negative to say about her relationship. And she certainly didn't hold back.
"hey pls stop w the hate and all the nonsense opinions n stuff," she messaged a fan who'd started a bit of trouble. "it's no fun for anybody in the fandom nor for me. i love y'all a lot... like family. and i work really hard to make u happy. please be supportive and kind to each other and about my life if that's ok. that's all i ask in return. have a good night."
Davidson first confirmed to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he and Grande were engaged, and said he was in disbelief.
"It’s so funny to walk down the street because dudes are walking by and... Did you see that Derek Jeter commercial? He’s retiring and everybody tips their hat. Some dude goes up to me and says, ‘Yo man, you gave me hope!’ I was like, I didn’t know I was that ugly," he said, adding, "I'm a lucky motherf-----."
