Living in Colorado going to Arches National Park in Moab, Utah is something that I have wanted to do for a while and over the past extended weekend with friends in town, we made it happen. It was a beautiful weekend with sunshine expected all day which was perfect for our day trip. And while we spent a few hours enjoying the park you could spend numerous days enjoying the views and beauty from within the park.

We woke up had a lazy morning and got breakfast before starting the trip so we didn't arrive in Moab until almost 1:00 p.m. There was approximately a 45-minute wait before we could enter the park but that is to be expected on an extended weekend.

Whether you want to hike and check out the arches or just drive along the road and see beautiful views Arches National Park in Moab is perfect for whatever adventure you're looking for. It was a lot of fun getting out and walking along the sand to get to some arches that weren't visible from the road. As you will see in the pictures below it was amazing how large the rock formations were within the park.

Visiting Arches National Park on Memorial Day Weekend

While the park took 45-minutes to enter the park didn't seem too busy. It was great that once within the park it was easy to stop and visit multiple arches easily and it wasn't overrun with guests.

If you haven't made the trip to Moab put it on your bucket list.
