Apple Launches Tool to Deregister Phone Number from iMessage

If you had an iPhone and tried to switch to any other phone, you probably know it's nearly impossible to get your text messages from Apple's iMessage app. Thankfully Apple launched a tool to help remove your phone number a bit simpler.

Old iPhone users were experiencing missed text messages after switching from an iPhone to any other mobile device.

Apple quietly released the tool that will hopefully rid the timeline of deregistering your phone number from the iMessage service -- a process that was taking weeks, even months to complete.

Now, ex-iPhone users can head over to "Deregister iMessage," enter their phone number, get a confirmation code and viola, no more missed text messages.
