American Idol: What Are the Perks of Being On the Show?

This is the last week for American Idol and it seems that everyone is focused on who is going to win but I was thinking today, How about the perks of being on the show!

Some of the contestants over the years have tried to use the Idol stage to get 'perks' for clothing deals, make-up and of course music careers! I think the real 'perk' is getting to go and help others!

This year's American Idol contestants made a trip to a children's hospital to spread joy! That is a huge 'perk' for the kids that are sick in the hospital!

My favorite Idol this year said one of the 'perks' was meeting Drake -- I would have to agree that is a good perk!
