A free showing of a local school's adaptation of the classic "Alice in Wonderland" is coming to the Mesa County Central Library in April.

Middle-school students from Independence Academy will present an original theatrical adaptation of Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" at 2 pm Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Mesa County Libraries Central Library, Fifth Street and Grand Avenue in Grand Junction.
After the play, those who attend are invited to stay and enjoy a Mad Hatter tea party.
The event is open to the public and is free for everyone, but seating will be limited.
