Here are the Western Colorado cities that made the cut for some of the safest cities in Colorado to live in, starting with the safest Western Slope city first.

    Durango is the first Western Slope city to make Colorado's 'safe list.' Durango is the 13th safest city to live in Colorado, followed by Littleton.

    Fruita is Colorado's 15th safest city to live in and is technically tied for 14th with Littleton.

    Glenwood Springs

    Glenwood Springs is the next Western Slope City on the safest cities in Colorado list. Glenwoods is #20 on the list, right between Westminister and Longmont.

    Montrose is the 26th safest Colorado city to live in. Montrose is followed by Wheat Ridge and Greeley.

    Grand Junction is the last Western Slope city to make the list. Grand Junction is the 35th safest Colorado city to live in, Colorado Springs is #34 and Commerce City is #36.
