Fifteen years ago, a gallon of gas was $1.79, The Lord of the Rings and Finding Nemo were tops at the box office and The Grammys broadcast from New York City for the last time...

Until 2018.

In 2003, the 45th annual Grammys aired from Madison Square Garden and showered newcomer Norah Jones with trophies galore, welcomed the likes of No Doubt to the stage and even saw 'NSYNC honor The Bee Gees with a medley. It was also the most recent time the show took Manhattan by storm — The Grammys have since been a mainstay of Los Angeles' Staples Center.

But next week, the show will return to its roots, as James Corden hosts the show from MSG. Will Cardi B and Bruno Mars steal the show? Could Lorde come from behind with a surprise Album of the Year win? And how will the whole thing compare to the most recent NYC ceremony, when Jon Stewart served as host?

Check out a gallery of 2003 Grammys photos that range from red-carpet to post-show, see some of the best wins and moments in video form and tell us if there's a particular tidbit from the celebration that still sticks out in your head.

The 60th annual Grammys will air on CBS on January 28.
