The staff at a Grand Junction drugstore were not laughing when they discovered a woman used counterfeit money to pay for her purchase.

The counterfeit $100 bills were used to make a purchase on December 19 at the Rite Aid store at 400 North First Street.

The store's security cameras photographed a black female, believed to be the suspect. She is estimated to be 25 to 35 years old and between 5-foot 6-inches and 5-foot 9-inches tall.

At the time the fraudulent purchase was made, the woman was wearing blue jeans, a light winter coat with a fur-lined collar and was carrying a large tan purse.
