Why Are The Creepy Pink Baby Faces Popping Up In Denver?

Oh yes, I love a good mystery, especially on April Fool's Day. Except this is not a joke. There is an item that has been popping up around Denver, and nobody seems to know what is going on.

What are these items? 3D pink baby baces. Yes, baby faces. These faces are being seen on buildings, in parks, and it is creeping people out.

There are a few different versions of the faces when it comes to the color, but the majority of these pieces are pink.

I have known people in my life that have become obsessed with Garden Gnomes, but I am not sure what these baby faces symbolize or are really trying to say. It just seems that if this an expression of art that the artist would show who they are and inform us what it is all about.

The looks on some of these baby's faces vary, and to be honest, they are extremely creepy. Has anyone seen these things? It looks like a bad horror film exploded over Denver.
