Does your dog lack a sense of purpose? Where can you go in Grand Junction to help your dog or cat find their place in the cosmos? The Roice-Hurst Humane Society offers programs to assist you to better understand your pet's behavior.

Western Colorado's Roice-Hurst Humane Society now offers the "Animal Resource Center." This program features dog and cat counselors sharing fun classes for pet owners. Topics include:

  • May 10 @ 5:30 p.m. - Giving Your Dog Purpose
  • May 15 @ 10 a.m. - Taming Your Tiger
  • May 19 @ 5:30 p.m. - Caring for Bottle Babies
  • May 22 @ 10 a.m. - Feline Nutrition 101
  • May 28 @ ??? - Keeping Your Dog Busy

Who gets to participate? If you've adopted a pet from the Roice-Hurst Humane Society in the last six months, you and your pet can take part for free. For everyone else, classes range from $5 to $15 per class (or a donation... check out the shelter's wish list.)
