Time for the ladies to come together and empower one another this Saturday, January 19 at the 3rd Annual Women's March here in Western Colorado.

Teresa Shook founder of the Women's March basically went to bed the night that President Donald Trump won the election feeling discouraged and uncertain of what the future had in store.

This was the birth to women standing together and fighting for love and not racism, bigotry, and hate speech in a safe environment.

This years march will start at the Mesa County Old Courthouse in Downtown Grand Junction at 12:30 p.m. At one o'clock there will be a brief speech before walkers hit the road.

The march will end at the Avalon Theater on 7th and Main Street where there will be more speeches and activities to follow.

Women coming together and uniting together rather than stabbing each other in the back is definitely something to celebrate in my book.

See ya' at the march.
