Western Colorado Restaurant Offers $1 Hurricane for February

Would you enjoy a fruit flavored adult beverage for the low, low cost of $1? This Western Colorado chain restaurant is running this special throughout the month of February.

Grand Junction and the surrounding areas will experience snow and rain all this week. That's cool, but would you like to experience a Hurricane? A friend of mine in Florida survived one just a few months back. While it was anything but fun, he did make a few memories.

In this case, we're not talking about a weather event. For our purposes here, a Hurricane refers to drink made of:

• rum
• passion fruit
• orange
• black cherry
• lime

That sounds a little "busy" for my tastes. I'm not a mixed drink kind of person. If you are, though, this might be right up your alley. During the month of February, Applebee's offers $1 Hurricanes.

Okay, that still seems really busy. I like beer and wine. That's me. You, on the other hand, might enjoy a drink such as this. In all fairness, that's a lot of "stuff" for just a buck.
