A registered sex offender was arrested in Grand Junction Saturday after police responded to a report of a suspicious male watching children at a playground in the southwest quadrant of the city.

According to Grand Junction Police, a witness reported 45-year-old Michael was watching children play, and then followed them into an apartment after he asked them for some water. Once inside, Graham was reportedly confronted by an adult and left the apartment.

Graham was taken into custody on charges of 1st-degree trespass and harassment. However, at the jail, police say Graham admitted to watching the children and having thoughts about touching them in a sexual manner. Police also say he admitted to fantasizing about one of the juveniles specifically.

The charges against Graham were amended to 2nd-degree burglary and three counts of enticement of a child.
