With the economy holding stable, employer's are beginning to see a trend of people staying in their jobs and this is beginning to cause a gap in other career fields, that employers are needing to get filled.

According to Time Magazine, there is a handful of fields facing big worker shortages right now. This means big opportunities for you! Here is a list of the top jobs available right now.

1. Teachers - according to Education Week, there are over 100,000 fewer teachers than there were in 2008. If you have a teaching certificate, or if you happen to be bilingual or are capable to handling math. Your skills are definitely in need.

2. Chefs - Fortune Magazine there is a huge battle from many different types of restaurants over one single qualified applicant. This has been caused by an explosion of new restaurants opening, and the fact that there are not as many people who are willing to work their way up, and do not have the patience to do so.

3. Construction - construction workers are definitely in need. The Wall Street Journal states that the construction business has picked up very quickly. There are many large companies who are seeking qualified employees who have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpenters.

5. Health Care - this career path has always been a strong one, as everyone at one point or another will need Healthcare in their lifetime. This is the perfect time to become a nurse, doctor, or any type of healthcare worker as the Baby Boomer generation is beginning to retire and with Obamacare, more people are getting health care options.
