Excitement of the Renaissance Festival is happening here in  Grand Junction. Take yourself back in time...and enjoy a turkey leg!

I love Renaissance Festivals! The food and the festivities, and the merriment! I am the type who likes to go all out and dress in full garb! Oh yes, that means the entire knights outfit, sing out loud and fill myself with food!

When I go to a Renaissance festival, it is just like taking a step into history. There are knights, maids, swords that are super cool to look at. As you roam through the village, you have the chance to interact with the characters who love to entertain. I especially love the accents. You will see magic, music, and of course huge turkey legs!

The Juniper Ridge Community School is putting on the Renaissance Festival this year at the Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction. The dates are April 29th, from 3pm to 8pm, April 30th from 10 am to 8pm, and May 1st from 10 am to 4pm.

If you have never been to a Renaissance Festival. My suggestion to you is, give it a try. I think you will be surprised of what you can see, learn, and enjoy. The best part is all the money from the festival will go to help the Juniper Ridge Community School. Find more information and tickets below.
