If zombies, space aliens (a.k.a. killer klowns), demons, and the dark side are up your alley, the 2018 Telluride Horror Show is the place for you to be.

This year's festival in Telluride is October 12-14 with a line up of full-length feature films, shorts, guest speakers, and special events. The films are a mix of horror, suspense, thriller, dark fantasy, sci-fi and dark comedy shown in Telluride's unique theaters, with many of the films showing for the first time in the United States.

The festival line-up offers over 20 feature films and more than 50 short films.

Take a look at some of these thrilling titles and storylines.

*Anna and the Apocalypse - "A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas..."
* Killer Klowns From Outer Space - "Teenagers investigate a comet crash and discover a deranged species of aliens who look like circus clowns..."

For those that are into animation horror:

* Attack of the Potato Clock -  " a mutated potato clock rises from death on a stormy night to get revenge on Hilda, the cafeteria's lunch lady who is chopping potatoes..."
* Sog - "after a flood some fish get stuck in old trees..."

You can get a three-day pass for $150 which gets you into all movies and special events. Or, buy a pack of 6 movie tickets for $75. Individual movie tickets are $15 and sold at the door as space allows.

Tickets for the festival are available online, and some events will definitely sell out.

Clearly, the Telluride Horror Show isn't for everyone, but for anyone wanting to get into the Halloween spirit a little early, it might be worth checking out.
