We’d always wondered how long The CW could keep folding DC dramas into its lineup, and the schedule might finally have cracked. Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will begin trading timeslots in 2018, pushing Supergirl’s finale all the way into June.

September is almost upon us, and with it we take a step closer to October premieres of Flash, Legends, Arrow and Supergirl. Not only that, but Flash is reborn with a new costume, and mixing it up with the Legends in a new fall superhero promo.

Anyone who knows Archie comics knows the Riverdale gang has met just about every other comic character, so might Riverdale itself follow suit? A new set photo from Season 2 of the CW hit seems to show Supergirl hanging out in Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe, so what does it mean?

Supergirl notably fell behind her CW counterparts in delivering footage, but you know how it goes when the girl of steel is ready for action – up, up and away! See for yourself as both Kara and her Super-cousin take flight in the first official footage from Season 2 of Supergirl.

Perhaps keeping coy in her CW move, Supergirl has notably trailed behind Arrow, Flash or Legends of Tomorrow in releasing any official previews of the new season. That said, the first official photo brings Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman down to stand alongside his cousin (and maybe even throw a little shade Zack Snyder’s way).

Like The Flash and Arrow before them, Supergirl and the Legends of Tomorrow will up the excitement considerably to stand beside their fellow CW heroes onscreen. Now, we at least know what their feet look like together, as Stephen Amell reprises an old teaser to signal the start of crossover production.

Supergirl is brighter than ever in her big move to The CW, and the former CBS superhero drama is ready to relaunch Kara’s world for Comic-Con 2016. We an early tease or two, but what major details did the Super cast reveal from the assembled event in San Diego? Our full panel report!

Two new superheroine shows debuted this fall; CBS’ Supergirl and Netflix’s Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones received acclaim from critics and viewers alike, while Supergirl has already received a full season order for its first season. Both shows have wildly different themes, different tones, different distribution channels, and different core demographics… and yet within a few days of Jessica Jones' release, opinions popped up about how the dark, gritty Jessica Jones is a sign that bright, optimistic Supergirl will fail, or that the arrival of Jessica Jones means that Supergirl is irrelevant and unnecessary. Let’s not talk about what one show has over the other, or why one show will “make” the other one fail. Instead let's talk about something the shows have in common --- an ability to connect with female audiences --- and how that can provide a template for more successful superheroine shows.
