A reboot of Starship Troopers has been kicking around for several years, despite the fact that Paul Verhoeven’s cult classic (which could describe most of his films) is pretty great as is. It’s hard to imagine another filmmaking team successfully delivering a great sci-fi B-movie that perfectly functions as a satire of sci-fi B-movies layered into a satire of the military (it’s like a seven-layer satire dip, really) — especially in 2016, or 2017, or whenever this thing happens. But if Donald Trump wins the presidency, it could be quite timely.

That’s right, Alfalfa, Spanky, Buckwheat, Darla and the rest of the gang will be coming back together for Universal Pictures reboot of ‘The Little Rascals,’ and it looks like they’ve found the director to run this project.

It’s been kind of a slow day for TV news, what with most of the major Television Critics Association press tour panels having taken place, but in some cases a slow day is just the calm before the storm.  That’s why we’re equally delighted, bewildered and horrified to announce that ‘The Brady Bunch’ will be gracing our TV screens once more in the near future, with a rebooted cast.  Also, Vince Vaug
