I'm sure I wasn't the only person who was a little shocked over the weekend to hear that Spin City will be closing down for good later on this month. It was a post made on their own Facebook page and detailed the information regarding their closure and stated their last day in operation would be Saturday, February 20th.

I'll be honest, this is a bummer, as we had a staff party there just last year and it was a lot of fun bowling playing games, and eating pizza. But after 7 1/2 years in business, the owner of the building had sold and it will soon be the location of the new All-Terrain Motorsports we mentioned to you last month that will be 47,000 square feet large.

The post on social media also thanks all of the patrons over the years and does mention that they will be liquidating all of the building's assets very soon. This includes:

  • All skates and rollerblades
  • Jungle City Tables
  • Chairs
  • Benches
  • Office Equipment
  • Safes
  • Electronics
  • Lockers
  • Effect Lighting
  • Sound System
  • Fixtures
  • And more

If you're interested in purchasing any of these items you're encouraged to email criley@spincitygj.com

It will be sad to see Spin City go as it was one of only a few places that catered to the younger crowd but really was a lot of fun for kids of all ages. They have tons of video games to play and while I didn't test my luck lots of people enjoy their skating rink.
