Five Fun Things for a Snow Day Around Grand Junction

Everybody loves a snow day and we might just see another BIG winter storm tonight so let get ready. That could mean a SNOW DAY! Here are five fun things to do on a snow day around Grand Junction.

1. Sledding - Ahh yes, nothing is better than the wind blowing through your scarf and coat as you race down a hill and see how much speed you can build up.

2. Tubing - I tried this for the first time this year, how exhilarating! Flying down a hill, being with no real steering control. What a rush.

3. Building Snowman - I love this. I remember spending lots of time outside when I was younger. No school and my brother and I would go out into the yard and make some really fun snowmen and other fun things like forts.

4. Sleeping - Oh yes, you cannot forget the overly important, SLEEP! A snow day provides you with a chance to just not move, stay in bed, and stay all snuggly and warm.

5. Skiing - To be honest, I am hoping for a snow day. I have never tried skiing. Can you believe that? I think it looks fun, a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get a work out at the same time. I can't wait!
