PetBot Takes Selfies of Your Pets While You’re Away

We have smartphones. Our kids have smartphones. Our pets have smartphones?? They do now!

What an amazing invention I have run across called the "PetBot". Designed as the very first smartphone for pets, it has multiple and really awesome things that your pet can do to interact with you!

Many of us work long days and sometimes do not get to spend as much time with our pets as we would like. Let's run down what this "PetBot" really does! I think you will be pretty amazed. I know for sure that I was.

1. Your pet can send you a selfie and allows you to engage with your pet remotely. Yep, selfies are no longer just a human thing!

2. It works as a treat dispenser. If the "Petbot" hears or detects your furry friend, it will attempt to get it's attention and it will dispense a treat to them, so they do not feel alone.

3. If your animal starts to bark or if a noticeable change to your pets activity happens, this smartphone wizardry will contact you and let you know what is going on, and sent you live video!

4. You can upload music or your voice to keep your pet company.

5. For pets that have separation anxiety, you can schedule activities for your pets to keep them entertained while you are gone.

The best part is this company supports pets, "PetBot" is trying to help animals and raise $80,000, and as of early this morning (September 1st) had raised just over $7,000, with 45 days to go.

Is anyone else out there jealous? I want one of these! Maybe we could come up with a Kid version of this for those who are home after school alone, or while mom and dad are at the store. That would be a great idea too!
