Homelessness is a problem around the world. Here is Grand Junction, we are no different. Everyday, I drive around and see people who have run across hard times, and are looking for a better way of life.

In Moscow, there is a charity that has opened a outdoor movie theater that provides movies twice a month to those without homes. According to Al Jazeera the outdoor venue provides a place for homeless to enjoy a movie, snacks, and beverages. A volunteer for the event said

"More than anything we have a dream to change attitudes towards homeless people, because they are often abused and mistreated, and it is very hard for them to live,"

This got me thinking. What if Grand Junction could  provide a night like this for all of the homeless in the Grand Junction area? Would there be interest from our local businesses, or a non-profit organization?
