If you haven't heard of Project Semicolon, or if you've wondered what all of these semicolon tattoos are, here's what you need to know.

Project Semicolon is a movement, across the country, reminding people who struggle with depression, suicidal tendencies, and addiction to self-injury that they are not alone and that they don't have to succumb to these problems.

The semicolon represents the fact that the author is not ending the sentence. In this case, you, me, we, are the author. So a semicolon tattoo represents that the author could have ended the sentence, but they didn't. They continued to fight. I think this is beautiful.

I want to know how many people in Grand Junction, Colorado are involved in this, in any way. Do you have a semicolon tattoo? Do you know anyone in town that does? How do you feel about this movement?
