Our First New House Pumpkin Carving Escapade

Halloween is coming up fast and you know what that means? No, not candy, I'm talking about carving pumpkins.

Other than dressing up with my kids and taking them trick-or-treating my favorite thing to do is carve pumpkins. It's the one time before Halloween that the whole family comes together and hang out.

My daughters are getting really good at the carving part but don't have the patience to do the outline. That, of course, is up to me.

Seeing everyone at my house for the first pumpkin carving since we built it is something I am going to cherish forever, we are the type of family who likes to use the guts from the pumpkins. My daughters and their Nana decided that should give them some seasonings and put them in the oven.

They were some of the best pumpkin seeds that I have ever tasted!

I can not wait for next year!
