Researchers At MIT Created A Robotic Cheetah [VIDEO]

MIT researchers have developed an algorithm for bounding that they've successfully implemented in a robotic cheetah. Yea, whatever that means... just check out this awesome robotic cheetah!

So, THIS is why I could never get into MIT! I couldn't even spell cheetah right when I was typing this up. I knew the people at MIT were very intelligent but seeing a product of some of their work puts it in a better perspective.

As incredible as this is, I must admit that I did laugh a little bit at first. When they showed the cheetah running, about the :56 second mark, it just looked funny for some reason (again, another reason why I clearly didn't get into MIT).

I'd like to see this when it's fully developed, running and moving exactly like a real life cheetah. I'd also like to see some of the other projects they're working on at MIT... they have to be mind blowing. What did you think of the robot?
