Are you looking for a new gig? Are you uncertain as to how to begin? The Mesa County Workforce Center is offering a job fair boot camp which might just point you towards the job of your dreams.

Don't be like me. My early outings in search of a career were pitiful, to say the least. I was completely unprepared, lacking the resources needed to begin a search.

Have you utilized the local workforce center as much as you should? The video above, a short introduction to the facility and its services, has to date received a grand total of one view. That's not acceptable. Put this valuable service to good use!

On March 17, 2017, the Mesa County Workforce Center offers the 2017 Jump Start Job Fair Boot Camp. This event consists of four 30-minute workshops facilitated by local Human Resources personnel.

Workshops include:

  • Understanding the Application Process from a Recruiter's Perspective
  • Resume 102: An In-depth Approach to Resume Writing
  • Interview Prep 101
  • Answering Behavioral Interview Questions.

The event will be held at the Mesa County Workforce Center - Business Center at 512 29 1/2 Road in Grand Junction.
