Dabbing, a form of getting high using Marijuana, is gaining a lot of popularity, due to the ease of concealment and potency. However, law enforcement and medical professionals are concerned with the effects of dabbing.

When dabbing, the individual will take a resin (wax) sometimes referred to as "earwax" and they will put it on a titanium nail inside of the bong, and then us a butane torch to superheat the nail until it vaporizes the resin.

While marijuana is legal for recreational use in Colorado, the concern stems from the potency of dabbing. A marijuana smoker is receiving about 10-20% THC potency from that form of ingestion. When dabbing, the inhaler is receiving over 75% THC potency, which is absolutely saturating their brain with THC.

Law enforcement is also concerned because dabbing is hard to detect and easy to conceal because the marijuana resin is superheated and vaporized, leaving behind no scent or residue. However, I wonder why they would be concerned about detecting it, when it's legal. I do, however, understand that concern with the amount of THC people is receiving.

As far as being easy to conceal, if you've ever seen a person who has smoked "dabs", they are pretty easy to recognize. They act like they just smoked marijuana for 3 hours straight. As for me, I'll stick to a beer every now and then, all of this nonsense seems a bit too intense for my taste!
