A staple to the nightlife of downtown Grand Junction has changed owners.

Hold on to your memories from ThunderStruck Valley, because you won't be able to make any new ones. Please say hello to the 'Twisted Turtle.'

According to reports, ThunderStruck Valley was purchased by a local resident. Plans are to change the name, and to bring a fresh vibe to downtown nightlife.

The city does have to approve any and all changes made. Not only are proposed changes for the inside, the new owners plan to change the outside of the building as well.

I think we will all miss ThunderStruck Valley in one way or another. Everybody has a story that either directly or indirectly involves this place one way or another.  Good or bad. Time to share those stories.
