Competing at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Bejing may not be in your future, but that doesn't mean you couldn't benefit from some Olympic training.

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is giving skiers the opportunity to learn from one of the nation's top skiers.

Heidi Kloser was on the 2014 USA Olympic Team but suffered a serious injury moments before she was to head to the starting gate to compete in the moguls. Although Kloser was not able to compete at the Olympics, she is a 7-year member of the USA ski team, 2010 FIS World Cup Rookie of The Year, and a 2011 Member of World Cup Championship Team.

Kloser is available for ski lessons at Powderhorn on a very limited basis. Instruction has taken place this week at Powderhorn and one-on-one lessons will be offered again on January 27. A two-day group clinic is being offered January 19 and 20 with a minimum of 3 participants required and a maximum of 8. The cost of the clinic and the lessons range from $299-$599.

If you have some decent skills on the slopes but you'd like to get to the next level, this is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best. To register for lessons or the clinic you should call 970-268-5700- ext. 2080.
