Kanye West will not be released from the hospital today (Nov. 28) as originally scheduled — or with any planned discharge date in sight, according to a TMZ update on the developing situation.

"We're told his personal doctor was going to take charge of him upon release. We're now told Kanye is still not stable and will not be released today. In fact, there is now no release date set, because he has not recovered from his breakdown a week ago," TMZ reports.

TMZ also reports that Kanye — who is being visited at bedside "almost nonstop for a week" by his wife Kim Kardashian, has "had a rough time at UCLA Medical Center, struggling with extreme paranoia -- at one point he would not even let the doctors touch him."

Kanye was originally hospitalized on November 21 while visiting his trainer Harley Pasternak’s home, where cops were called because Kanye was reportedly “acting erratically.” Little else is officially known about his condition at this time.

Stars including Janelle Monae, Chance The Rapper and Emile Hirsch have all sent their love and support via social media to the artist in the time since.
