Josh Gad Won’t Stop Asking Daisy Ridley About ‘The Last Jedi’

After the title of the next Star Wars movie was revealed a couple weeks ago, a veritable mountain of blog posts and articles piled up debating who “The Last Jedi” could be. Even celebrities weren’t safe from speculation fever, with Josh Gad taking the opportunity to try to ask Daisy Ridley herself what the title means. That attempt went less than smoothly, but far from being discouraged, Gad is back for another go at it.

The two are currently filming Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express together, so they’re kind of stuck with each other. Which is bad news for Ridley, who looks even more annoyed this time than the first. Gad posted the new video of the encounter to his Facebook page.

These videos are a little uncomfortable to watch at this point. Ridley says at the beginning that she wasn’t as angry in the last one as she looked, but at the end of this one she seems pretty pissed, walking straight out of the trailer after she realizes what is going on. Her ability to keep cool is practically a superpower. Gad does bring up an interesting point though: the last time we saw John Boyega’s Finn, he’d had his back sliced open by Kylo Ren’s lightsaber. Is he paralyzed now, or did he recover? We, and Gad, won’t know until the movie opens in December.

The first one of these videos was funny, but I kinda hope Gad doesn’t try this again. Or if he does, he lets Ridley in on it first. Making a movie is probably a lot easier when the cast isn’t constantly at each other’s throats.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15. Murder on the Orient Express opens November 22.
