Perhaps at a loss for any other material, Joan Rivers once more made what seems like a thirsty grab for media attention this week by body-shaming Adele.

Adele has yet to comment because she's too busy counting her accolades and winning at living.

When Rivers was asked about the offensive body snarking she employed during her most recent interview on 'The Late Show With David Letterman,' the comedy vet wouldn't back down.

"It's not mean. She's a chubby lady who's very, very rich, and she should just calm down -- or lose weight," Rivers snapped to The Huffington Post Live (via Us Weekly).

"She wanted an apology, so I took an ad out on her ass," she continued. "I said, 'You are not fat.' And then I had room for a lot of other ads."

Classy!

She added, "Adele is beautiful and successful and has what, $100 million? Let's face reality: she's fat!"

Another reality? Rivers seems desperate.
